A JACKSONVILLE BEGINNING

Brette Petway was raised inside a story already in motion.

A Jacksonville native, she grew up watching her parents, Tom and Betty Petway, help shape the city around her—her father through his role in bringing the Jacksonville Jaguars to life, and her mother through a lifelong commitment to philanthropy that touched countless lives. Service, vision, and impact were not ideas—they were daily examples.

Her childhood unfolded with both elegance and freedom. She spent her early years riding horses, drawn to their grace, discipline, and quiet strength—a passion that instilled in her a lasting appreciation for beauty paired with presence.

A graduate of Wolfson High School, Brette carried forward a deep connection to her hometown, along with an understanding that life could be both meaningful and artful.

LOSS AND AWAKENING

At twenty-eight, Brette experienced the loss of her sister, Mandi - a moment that would quietly, but permanently, alter the course of her life.

Grief became an opening. What began as a search for understanding evolved into a lifelong exploration of healing, faith, and the unseen dimensions of experience. This early turning point shaped how Brette would move through the world—more attuned, more intentional, and more open to meaning beyond the surface.

Her Christian faith became a steady foundation, while her curiosity led her to explore a range of healing modalities, each adding dimension to her personal journey.

THE BOULDER CHAPTER

Boulder, Colorado became the setting for Brette’s next evolution.

For over twenty years, she built a life rooted in intention—drawn to the values of Waldorf education for her children and a slower, more conscious way of living. It was here that she created her family alongside her husband, Jeff Zadow. She is a mother of four—Avery, Ashton, Ellie, and Hayden—within a blended family built with love, care, and intention. This chapter was expansive—shaped by motherhood, partnership, and a commitment to living thoughtfully.

And eventually, a quiet knowing emerged—it was time to return home.

THE heART OF LIVING WELL

Her life is layered with practices that support both body and spirit—Transcendental Meditation, Parts Work, Cellcore, the presence of Braco, and the teachings of Hinson International Ministries.

Alongside these are her daily rituals: red light sauna, Pilates, and a devotion to overall well-being. Always with an eye toward self-care and physical, mental and spiritual healing and peace she has created a life that balances structure and softness, depth and beauty.
